Winners! Days 11, 12, 13! & a peek at the Grand Prize

Hope everyone had a good weekend! My husband and I were still recovering from a cold and getting rained in, so we took it pretty easy.

Here are the winners of Days 11, 12 and 13:

  • Winner of Anyone But You by Lara Zeises: Olivia (paradoxrevealed)
  • Winner of A School for Sorcery by E. Rose Sabin: Tami (blackroze)
  • Winner of Supernatural Rubber Chicken: Poultry in Motion by Debra Garfinkle: Elizabeth Mays (doot65)

I thought you guys might also like to see what the Grand Prize looks like (only 4 more days!!!) :-) And there’s no time like the present to enter the Grand Prize Contest!

It’s kinda hard to see what the tote bag looks like under all that stuff, but it’s cool, I promise you. And isn’t the t-shirt cute?? If you click on the picture to get the larger view, you can see it even better. (leave me a comment and tell me whatcha think of it…I’m thinking of having some more made up and maybe giving prizes every now and then or using them at school events as special prizes…whaddaya think?) Good luck to everyone in the contest!

Update: Grrrr, probably would make sense to include a link again to the main contest post so’s you could enter in any of the remaining daily contests, eh? Seeing as how each entry gets you an entry into the Grand Prize Contest too…

  5. Moriah

ooh the bat and the shirt are so cute! >< Nina did a great job! you should start giving the bats away every now and then ;D and all those books (especially Sucks To Be Me!!) look so good. Also, is that a dragon I see on the bag???? I have loved dragons so much since i’ve read Eragon and Eldest. which reminds me that the third book, Brisingr, comes out Saturday! Have you read those books yet?? So many books i want, so little time and money!! ahhhh

  6. kimpauley

Yep, there’s a big dragon on one side of the bag :-) I’m looking forward to Brisingr too…though I think it might be hard to wrap up everything in just one book. Hard to say!

  8. Diana Dang

I see the book I’m getting! =OO I can’t wait for the grand prize! Omg, I want it really bad! The shirt is simply adorable! For a second, I thought it was some sort of cloth or the totebag. //crossing my fingers// And I really want to know what the mean girl’s name will be!

  9. kimpauley

Hi Tami — surely :-) Just send me a note and I’ll mark down another extra entry for you.

Diana — I’ve had some really cool suggestions so far and they’ve given me a lot of food for thought. It’s going to be tough to choose! Some of the other names I might use for secondary characters (like the mean girl’s friends).

  10. TAMI BLACKROZE37

  13. Carrie Harri

That looks SO fabulous! I think you deserve a Grand Prize for putting together the most awesome contest ever.

  14. kimpauley

LOL I think it’s a grand “prize” just finally being a published author! And having awesome readers write me! *That’s* cool!

  15. Liviania

It all looks adorable! I’m glad I have entries in the GPC.

  16. Moriah

but ms. pauley!!! Christopher Paolini is writing ANOTHER book after Brisingr. Didn’t you know???? He decided that Brisingr was too long, so he made it into two books. Here’s what it says at http://www.alagaesia.com/christopherpaolini.htm :

“Early in 2007, as Christopher was writing Book Three, he realized that the plot and characters demanded more space than could fit in one volume and that a fourth book would be necessary to give each story element the attention it deserved. What began as the Inheritance trilogy became the Inheritance cycle. Book Three, Brisingr, will be published on September 20, 2008, and Book Four will complete the story that Christopher envisioned years ago when he first outlined the adventure.”

Isn’t that just fantastic??? Don’t worry, I just found this out about three, four weeks ago ><

–reply to previous post about you getting a grand prize–

I agree that being a published author is a prize!!! i’d love that so much!!! i just need to write a book… hmmm
