The “Win an Author Visit” contest will be over in just two days (well, technically, like 1 1/2 days now). Be sure to enter before the end of October! And tell your teachers!
I’d love to meet you.
Also, everyone have a happy and safe Halloween! May you get lots of candy but not rot your teeth. May you see lots of funny/gory/scary/cute costumed kids at your door and may you not get TP’d!
In writingish news, I got in touch with a teacher from the school in the town I’m kind of modeling the town in the sequel on and boy, did it change some things. Not a big huge deal, but now I need to re-think just a little. It’s all good though (as Brent Hartinger is wont to say).

Did you have a great Halloween? i had a good time. Went with a friend and like 6 of her friends. Didn’t get much candy, but it was fun. I made a Mummy costume in honor of Annette Curtis Klause’s book Freaks: Alive, on the Inside! It was fun to make: i cut up a white sheet and sewed/pinned it onto me. It kept falling apart in certain places, though. I felt like i was losing my pants haha
Other good news: i bought Sucks to be Me!!! i’m so happy. it will be awhile before i read it because i have so many other books. After i finish the two books i’m reading now, i have to read Lamb: the gospel according to biff by Christopher moore; it’s due at the library soon.
I understand how you feel about changing things in your sequel after researching. In my story i’m creating, i wanted it to take place somewhere real, but then i’d have to search up things about that place. I didn’t want to do that, so i am making it up.
well i have nothing else to say
have a great weekend!
Oh, we had a great Halloween! Hope you did too
We still have too much candy left over though!
