Hope everyone is having a wonderful, safe holiday season! We’ve got lots of snow here, so it already feels like Christmas. I’m not sure why that is, since I grew up where there was no snow, but it just feels like the holidays to me whenever there’s snow on the ground. Of course, this is kind of misleading and disappointing once Christmas is over and the snow is still there…and still there…and still there…
And don’t forget to enter the contest to win a Sucks to Be Me t-shirt! I’ll have a new contest in January too…and hey, if you’ve got a cool idea for a contest that’ll help get the word out about STBM, let me know! I’ve got quite a few t-shirts and some books to give away.
I actually donated 5 books (plus some author’s books from my YABC stash) to Anderson’s Bookshop today for their Book Angels program. I hope that whoever the teens are that receive my book through the program enjoy it! Anderson’s is a great shop, if you happen to live anywhere near Naperville or Downer’s Grove, IL. And if you live nearby, considering donating to the program too! If you know me, you know I’m all about getting books into the hands of readers (seeing as how I give away hundreds of books a year via YABC)! 
P.S. I’ll try and do the bookplate thing every holiday season if possible, so be sure to check current blog posts.

If only it snowed in south Florida. But when there’s a cold front, the clouds are really cool.
It snowed one time when I lived in Ocala in central Florida, back when I was about 8. Only a couple of inches, I think, but we still got a snow day!
It used to snow here in Myrtle Beach, SC. not anymore. two years ago we got a couple flakes that didn’t stick, and everyone at school started screaming “snow!snow!! WOO” and running outside. i think they overreacted a bit…
I do love myself a good snow, though.

Snow day? It was soo awesome last year. We actually got snow on Christmas. That was the coolest thing ever.

I wish they had an online drawing for that, but I checked ther site, and I didn’t see anything. I live in Washington State. I wish they had places like that that did drawings for your signed books.
