Ok, so this is like the coolest thing ever, no? A fan (named Serina, kinda like in the book, but spelled differently) actually got a tattoo of the awesome blue bat from the book! Both versions, actually — happy bat and angry bat. 
Just take a look (this is an in-progress photo, without all the shading done, but you can definitely tell what it is going to look like!!):

That is really nice tattoo. I guess it run’s in the family.. I even got a big tatto on my back. But my a trible with a large star. My daughter is a BAT….LOL.. Y … She love’s to stay up late and read her book’s….. I love my little girl Serina…..MOM in Stockton,ca.

I don’t have the guts either! I used to have to get shots for my back and I stay away from needles now!
it actually doesn’t hurt that bad and u get used to it but the thing is my butt went really numb you have to sit still and not move a muscle thats hard to do cause i move a lot lol
lol i have the guts it’s just the pain. But I’d totally get the bats

theres really no pain well some at first and after theres the itching lol because of the scabbing and you have to keep it moist with this stuff called tat wax wihich smells really nice lol thanks again to miss kimberly for letting me get it
