Do you have a Playlist for Sucks To Be Me?
No, not exactly. I mostly just either listened on random to my own collection (about 10,000 songs and counting) or to Pandora. There were some scenes that I listened to specific stuff (like Morcheeba when they were playing Truth & Dare in the pool). I like almost all kinds of music, except for whiny country (stuff like There’s a Tear in My Beer).
Have you Ever read the Mortal Instruments Books by Cassandra Clare?
Nope, but I’ve heard really great things about them and they look really, really interesting. I hope to read them someday.
Have you Ever Been To a Pow-wow?
You know, I’m not sure. I kind of vaguely think I might have when I was younger. But I’m not sure. On a related note, my family has some Arapaho blood. Though I’m mostly Chinese (50%).

Yay! So I’m not the only one that have not yet read Mortal Instruments!
I haven’t either. I’ve actually never heard about them until Stephenie Meyer posted about the lastest book in the series on her website. I’m not really too interested in that type of fiction, but there are some exceptions (Twilight, Harry Potter, Sucks to be Me, the list goes on…)
On another note… I hate it when people ask if writers have a playlist for their writing! I’ve been asked before and nobody except my two best friends have read my writing. It seems like Stephenie Meyer’s excessive use of playlists have gotten to many people…
I love to listen to music on Pandora. I also love to listen to the channels I make on Rhapsody.

A few writers do playlists other than Stephenie (like Lara Zeises). I do love music, but I often leave it off when writing (except for certain scenes). Mostly because I find myself singing instead of concentrating!
I love Pandora too and we got a Squeezebox and hooked it up to the speakers throughout the house so we can listen to it anywhere in the house instead of just on the computer. It Rocks!
