Vampire Squirrel from Still Sucks to Be Me

LOL, okay, so one of the ways you can get extra entries in the Still Sucks to Be Me Launch contest is to draw or create some type of picture of a vampire squirrel. Why a vampire squirrel? Because one of the chapter header doodles that the ever-so-talented Emi Tanji drew is of this adorable vampire squirrel. And who doesn’t like a vampire squirrel? I mean, come on!

So I’ve heard back now from one of the entrants, a librarian in Huntley, IL. Her teen advisory board got together and drew some absolutely darling (and hilarious) vampire squirrels for me. And not just the squirrels themselves…they also came up with some rules. Because, you know, there are always rules for things like vampire squirrels. They can’t just pop up anywhere for no apparent reason.
