On tie breakers that don’t, um, break…

So, remember how I had that contest where once I hit a 1000 followers on Twitter I’d give away a Sucks to Be Me vase AND the chance to name a character in my next book?

Well, I’ve been trying. I used random numbers generated by my Twitter peeps to pick two finalists. They are (da da dum) @YaBliss and @ReadingThisBook

Then I asked people to vote on twitter. And they did. And it keeps coming out to a tie, where I ask for tie breaker votes and then…it comes out to a tie again.

Now, I’ve only got one vase left unpacked to give away. And only one character that needs a name. I’ll be sending the runner-up a swag bag, but I’ve got to get it down to ONE winner (unless the two finalists would like to split it up where one gets the vase + swag and one gets to name a character + swag).

I need your help. Or I’m gonna have to flip a coin.

Post a comment here with a vote for either @YABliss or @ReadingThisBook. Voting ends Thursday at midnight Central time. (I’m trying the voting thing here because it’s easier to count this way than on Twitter and because TweetDeck sometimes seems to lose @ replies).

(And yes, even if you voted before, you can vote this time around. We’re starting fresh. I’m going to pretend the universe isn’t laughing at me.)

    I would also go with YABliss, just because it’s fun to say as if it was a word and not an abbreviation for “Young Adult Bliss”.

    Then again, I’m probably just easily amused :)
