So. It’s here. YOU can actually go and BUY the book. RIGHT NOW.
I’ll wait right here.
In all seriousness, I am super excited that the time has finally come. CAT GIRL is out there in the world. People are reading it. People I’ve never ever met are laughing at silly cat jokes because of me. That makes me inordinately happy.
I do hope you’ll go out and buy a copy for yourself. Or a friend. Or that lady down the street with all the cats that kind of freaks you out a little because she’s always muttering about how she needs to buy more tuna and she smells kind of funny. She could probably use a good laugh.
And if you do buy a copy), remember that I’ll send you a letter and a signed bookplate (no, I’m not kidding). If you don’t see the book in your local store on the shelf, please ask them to order it (especially since B&N isn’t stocking it by default and Borders doesn’t even exist anymore). I will seriously love you forever (still not kidding). In fact, hey, are you a bookseller? Let me know if you carry any of my books in your store and I will be OVERJOYED to send you signed bookplates and swag. Anywhere in the world. For reals.
And I’ve got a special deal for librarians too (check it out)!
You can buy Cat Girl’s Day Off online too, of course: directly from Lee & Low | Amazon | Barnes & Noble | IndieBound (find a local store!) and for international folks (of which I am one) there’s always the lovely Book Depository (FREE worldwide shipping!)! For ebook-ish people, there’s Amazon Kindle | Barnes & Noble Nook | iTunes | Google eBookstore
AND because I love you so much (and my publisher does too, because I’ve told them all about how awesome you are), there are also some fun chances to WIN a copy of Cat Girl’s Day Off (I’ll update this list as new ones pop up).

I got an ad email from Doubleday Book Club AND they have all of your books!!!! I didn’t know if you knew. I had to check it out since they sent the ad.
Love,
Deb
How could you tell they had my books? I checked out the website and I didn’t see them there, but that would be really cool!
