Do you have any questions for Taylor?

So…ever wonder who that girl is on the cover of Sucks to Be Me? Well, her name is Taylor. And she just got done with the photoshoot for book #2! (yay!) I thought it would be a fun time to interview her. I’ve got some questions, but how about you? Do you have anything you’d like to ask her? Post your questions here or email them to me directly! :-)

Two new interviews…

Two lovely bloggers have posted new interviews with me, as well as a chance to win a signed copy of Sucks to Be Me at one of ‘em. Check it out!

Review & Interview (plus kind words) at Through the Looking Glass

Marya from Through the Looking Glass reviews was kind enough to review Sucks to Be Me (and she liked it!) and she also interviewed me (some good questions!). Be sure to take a look! You should also check out her blog anyway…she’s gone a really great site with tons of reviews and interviews.

I like that she thinks I have a quirky sense of humor ;-)

13 Questions with the YA Authors Cafe

As part of the whole Teen Read Week celebration (Happy Teen Read Week! Woot!), I was invited over to the YA Authors Cafe to answer 13 Questions. It was a lot of fun. :-) You should check it out AND stop by there every day…they’ve got some other awesome authors that are stopping by as well…All Books with Bite! (and no, that’s not books *that* bite). If you didn’t know, this year’s theme for Teen Read Week is Books with Bite and I’m very happy that Sucks to Be Me has been included in the recommended list.

I’ll actually be participating in a number of events this week — if you live in northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin, I’ll be doing a reading/signing at the Grayslake, IL public library on Wednesday at 7 PM. On Thursday I’m doing another reading/signing, but it’s at kind of a private “Ladies’ Night” in my neighborhood. :-) And on Friday, I’ll be doing a school visit at Benito Juarez Community Academy High School in Chicago. Also on Friday is a LIVE radio interview at 5:40 PM. Busy week this week! (Check out my home page for more details on any of these events)

Interview with WUWM Milwaukee – Lake Effect Program

Remember that interview I mentioned with a Milwaukee radio station (WUWM) for their Lake Effect Program? Well, it aired this past Friday and you can now listen to it online. Tell me what you think! Just don’t tell me if I sound silly! :-P

Q&A at Powell’s Bookstore

I did a fun Q&A for Powell’s Bookstore and I just noticed that it’s been posted now. Check it out and tell me what you think! Great bookstore, by the way.

Interview with Cynsations!

So my interview with the lovely Cynthia over at Cynsations has been posted (you remember her, right? Day 1 of the Book Launch party? The very talented and lovely person that she is?)! You can check it out here. Tell me what you think!

And don’t forget to enter to win the Grand Prize Contest now going on!

Me on the Radio!

I had an interview today with Milwaukee Public Radio for their Lake Effect program. Not sure yet when it’s going to actually air, but I drove to downtown Milwaukee today to tape it :-) I think it went okay. I always feel like I sound like an idiot, but hopefully I don’t. :-P I’ll post again when I find out when it will air.

All kinds o’ news…

So my husband was browsing around on the book sites today seeing what my rank is (I think he might actually be more obsessed with it than me!). And my rank on Barnes & Noble is up (or down, I guess, depending on how you look at it) to 753!!! Woot! I’m not sure what it actually means, but it sounds good to me! You can’t tell much on Amazon because the rankings there change literally every hour or so. I’ve seen it as good as 24,770ish and it bounces all over – 75K, 42K, etc. etc.

The one icky note — someone left the same review on Borders that they left on Amazon but something got messed up…they gave it 3 stars on Amazon (which isn’t great, but hey) but somehow the same review on Borders only shows 2 stars! Ack! So if you’ve read Sucks to Be Me and liked it more than 2 stars worth (I hope!), please go over to Borders and submit a review! Heck, Amazon and Barnes & Noble too! (After all, each place you submit a review can earn you extra entries towards the grand Poo-Bah of Prize Packs in the Online Book Launch contest! Win, win, if you ask me! Have you seen what I’m giving away in that prize pack?? (Just remember to drop me an email with where you submitted reviews so I can count your extra entries!)

In other news, my interview with And Another Book Read has been posted up! Check it out!

And thank you to everyone who has participated so far in the Online Book Launch Party (authors included, of course!). And don’t forget to come back every day (or to get your extra entries in)!

Interview with Susan Raab up…hear how silly I sound :-)

While I was at ALA I had an interview with Susan Raab of Raab Associates. She recorded it, and listening to it now I am reminded of how silly I sound sometimes :-) Okay, not all the time, but definitely some of the time. :-) Check it out (it’s an MP3 file linked from this UConn site: http://www.tne.uconn.edu/RECESSInterviews.htm#pauley)

And, btw, Susan is awesome.

20 Questions Interview with YA NY!

I had fun talking with Sabrina from YA New York — check out our 20 questions with each other (technically 21…)
