Bookplates, Bookmarks, Tattoos, Oh My!

Want cool book swag for the Sucks to Be Me series? Like bookmarks, temporary tattoos, or signed bookplates? You got it! It’s yours — free!

What the heck is a bookplate, you ask? It’s a sticker that is signed by the author that you can stick in your book. I’ll sign ‘em to whoever you like (yourself, your best friend, your worst enemy…you get the idea).

Just send an SASE (that’s a self-addressed stamped envelope…you send me an envelope that’s addressed to yourself and with a stamp on it) and instructions (like if you want it personalized or not, or just signed by little ‘ol me) to me.

For those of you who’ve never done an SASE before, here’s what you do:

Get TWO envelopes (business size is best since I can fit bookmarks in those…and you want a free bookmark too, right?)

Envelope One: Address this envelope to yourself. Put a stamp on the envelope. Set aside.

Envelope Two: Address this envelope to me at: Kimberly Pauley, PO Box 303, Grayslake, IL 60030 and put a stamp on it.

Write me a letter telling me a) what you want (i.e. batty tattoo, VRA tattoo, vampire squirrel tattoo, bookmarks, a reading guide for STBM, bookplate, etc.), b) how you want your bookplate signed if you want one, and c) anything else you’d like to tell me (and I totally LOVE getting letters, FYI).

Put Envelope One inside Envelope Two. Also include your letter.

Drop Envelope Two into the mail and then wait!

**Please note that I only check my PO Box every couple of weeks; if you need the bookplate quicker than that for a gift or something like that, just contact me and let me know and I’ll make sure to check it sooner.**
