Win an Advance Copy of Sucks to Be Me!
NOTE: This Giveaway has Ended! Please check the most recent blog posts for any current giveaways and special promotions!
I’ve got a few ARCs (advance reader copies) of Sucks to Be Me (courtesy my editor – thanks Nina!) and I’d like to give one some (my publisher sent me more!) away now (more giveaways of the final hardcover are planned later on, mostly around the release date….so stay tuned on that) to generate just a little wee bit of early buzz (hey, I’m honest…as a book reviewer, I know how important buzz can be).
(And yes, I do realize that the paragraph above had way too many parenthetical inserts in it…I just couldn’t help myself.)
So I’m going to ask that the winner submit at least two reviews of my book after reading it (and hopefully loving it!): one to Amazon and one to YA Books Central. A book just looks lonely up there on the big ‘ol Internet without any reviews. And, of course, you can always post your review at other places.
To enter, email me at kim@kimberlypauley.com and include the following:
-
Your name
-
Age (if under 13, I’ll need a parent’s permission to award you the prize)
-
Why you’d like to read Sucks to Be Me
This giveaway will end on April 15, 2008, with the winner to be announced soon thereafter (barring any baby-craziness going on in my life). Good luck! And thanks for your interest and support.
UPDATE: Looks like I’ll be giving away about 8 copies! So be sure to get your entry in and spread the word!
Welcome to my new site!
I’d say “welcome to my site!” but technically, I’ve got a number of other websites, so…welcome to the latest and greatest! This is my official author site (as opposed to a personal blog or my YA lit site, Young Adult Books Central) and it is where you’ll find the latest news about me and my book (Sucks to Be Me, coming out in August 2008).
I’m also happy to answer questions (just check out the Q&A section) or just listen to what you have to say. This is my first novel, so, honestly, I’m incredibly anxious to hear all of your comments! I’ve been a book reviewer for nearly 10 years, but this is my first time on the “other side,” so I’m very excited, but nervous. Be kind (well, you don’t have to be…but it’d be nice if you were).
I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you.
